Earlier this week, I was contacted by the folks at
Boston Event Guide about their upcoming
Spring Wine Fest. The Spring Wine Fest takes place this Saturday at the
Cyclorama in the South End. During three different sessions (12-3 PM; 3-6 PM; 7-10 PM), you can taste different wines from different regions around the world
The kind folks at Boston Event Guide have offered me two tickets to give to one lucky reader for the 12-3 PM session. It is super easy to enter - just leave me a comment about your favorite type of wine to drink during the warmer months. For me, I love a glass of sparkling rose - preferably outdoors somewhere!
All comments must be entered by Thursday, April 28th at 11:59 PM EST and a winner will be selected by Random.org!
For more information about the Spring Wine Fest, please visit the event website here.

Chardonnay definitely! It's my favorite on a hot summer day :)
prosecco! (with a splash of st. germain if i'm feeling fancy)
A glass of cold Vinho Verde (from Portugal) is my favorite!
A glass of Portugese vinho verde is my favorite - so refreshing!
A white sangria with all sorts of lovely bits of peaches and grapes floating in it.
I love a glass of light vinho verde - nice and crisp and light, and perfect for warm weather! I also have a major soft spot for Prosecco, but anytime of year :)
I love a nice light Spanish wine to cool off - usually a glass of Cava or a chilled Albarino!
a nice chilled sauvignon blanc from NZ... nothing better!
I like moscato d'asti, poured over a few slices of peach or grapefruit. It makes a lovely dessert but is also perfect for sipping on a breezy afternoon.
I love a red sangria full of peaches and other summer fruit on a warm evening!
In the warmer months, we make a mean sangria, but if there's no time to prep/let it sit...a glass of Bogle Chardonnay is a the perfect back-up :)
I love prosecco!!
Love a wine spritzer - some white wine, seltzer water, and a dash of juice. Yum!
Ahhh I wanted to go to this! I had plans to go with a friend but last-minute I have a business trip :(
Vinho verde is definitely the best for a warm day! It's also super cheap at Trader Joe's!
I love a glass of Pinot grigio ... Sounds silly but if it's delicious then let it be. I'd love to attend to learn more about wines and wine pairings.. What a great idea to give them away. Thanks!:)
I previously would have said Viognier, but I have been recently introduced to gruner veltliner and have fallen in love!
Riesling all the way - or maybe a glass of Pinot Gris! (ps - excellent giveaway!!)
there's nothing better than sipping some home mad sangria outside on a warm summer day
there's nothing better than sipping on some home made sangria outside on a warm summer day

I love a nice Syrah Rose on a hot day!
