I've been to the UBurger at the Kenmore Square location but I've never been to the one downtown. I was happy to find that this UBurger location was bright, clean and cheery inside. On a rainy Friday night, the restaurant was busy with students and tourists who were all looking for a quick meal.
There are a lot of different burger options at UBurger and I quickly settled on the Big Papi burger. This burger comes topped with sliced jalapeno pepper, guacamole, cheddar cheese and tomatoes. It also comes with a smokey chipotle sauce, but I had that on the side. I loved all of the bright flavors with this burger and was very happy with my selection!
Bret and I also split a side of fries. The fries were thinly sliced and crispy. UBurger doesn't offer any dipping sauces for their fries but we made up for it with ketchup!
The burger was definitely over-cooked for my liking but overall, it definitely hit the spot. We felt pleasantly full without getting that rock in your stomach feeling that you often get when you eat fast food. While I rarely eat any fast food, I would much rather eat at an establishment like UBurger than some national burger chain.
UBurger has three locations in Boston and we visited the Park Street location at 140 Tremont Street, Boston, MA.

I've never been to UBurger but I'm definitely intrigued.
I'm with you - I just can't do fast food, but I have heard many good things about UBurger! The fries look great, and your burger toppings sound right up my alley!
I was at the UBurger Kenmore Sq. location with Daph a few weeks ago. That's where we were in my 9 month pregnancy update. =) I did read on Yelp that the Downtown location's burgers were dry, which is why we traveled so far for the Kenmore Sq. location.
Daph got the Big Papi. I don't eat red meat, so I ordered the grilled Sweet Chick which was super yummy. I really liked the fries and onion rings. The frappe was little sweet, but next time I'll request a tad less syrup. I've been trying to convince Daph to go back but he's so afraid I'm going to go into labor. LOL. =)
I've never heard of UBurger. I'll have to check it out to see what makes it different. Thanks!
I think for good 'fast food" in Boston my pick will always be b.good.
I've never heard of Uburger, but it reminds me of Five Guys burgers here in the south. Love them....unfortunately, my waist line doesn't!
that burger and fries look amazing right now. I must try UBurger before my next movie outing!
I've never been to a UBurger, but I'm sure I would love guacamole on a burger!
I just moved to Boston from Houston. I recently went to the UBurger on Park and was disappointed. Way overcooked. IMO, Five Guys is much better.
I haven't tried Uburger yet! I've done 5 Guys, 5 Napkin and B. Good. I also want to try the new 4 Burgers in Central Square. Mm hmm burgers! The fries looked great!
Ask for a side of House Spread for the fries--you won't be disappointed.
In my opinion, this is the closest the East Coast gets to In-N-Out.
I like UBurger....I also liked their cookies n cream shake...YUM!
