After breakfast at Lantern Brunch Inc., Bret and I wandered around downtown Andover to check out the various shops and boutiques. We were really just killing time until the Andover Farmers' Market opened up. As we got ready for the move, we didn't eat a lot of fresh ingredients as we tried to clean out our fridge, pantry and freezer. I was excited to make up for lost time and check out our new local farmers' market.
Although it was small, there was a good selection of fresh produce and we picked up a pint of cherry tomatoes, a bunch of radishes, freshly picked corn on the cob, and a carton of raspberries.
I also had a great time snapping photos of these beautiful fruits and vegetables. Here are just a few:
Andover Farmers' Market is held every Saturday at the Andover Historical Society, 97 Main Street, Andover, MA.

looks like a lovely farmers market!
What a beautiful market.
What a nice morning!
I always love finding new farmers' markets. One cool thing about your new place is that you're closer to the farms themselves, so you can just stop by farm stands and you don't have to wait for when the farmers' market opens. Let me know if you find any good ones or if you need recommendations :)
Hehe thanks for following! :) I've been reading your blog pretty much since I dove into the cooking blogosphere. I miss Boston like woah and never totally took advantage of all it had to offer in way of food. Reading your blog is like coming back for a visit and sampling what I missed out on :)
I didn't even know Andover had a farmer's market! Great pictures... I LOVE taking pics of fruits and veggies. They always come out so great and vibrant!
I love going to the farmers' market! So glad you found one nearby.
Checking out new farmer's markets is always so much fun. Love the photos of the eggplant and radishes. Gorgeous!
Hope you're enjoying your new hometown!
The eggplant are huge!
Your photos came out great! I love visiting farmers' markets :)
Every time that I drove through Andover I made it a point to try and make it to that farmer's market. Never did though. :-( Looks like some great selections!
