Good-Bye Summer: Sparkling Blueberry Cocktail

On Friday night, I decided to unwind with a cocktail (or two).  I had a few simple ingredients on hand, which inspired me to make a sparkling blueberry cocktail.  It seemed like a fabulous way to say good-bye to summer!

I quickly mixed together a cocktail consisting of a splash of Wyman's Wild Blueberry Black Currant juice, Prosecco and a few blueberries.

The result was sweet, delicious and refreshing!  It was the perfect way to start the weekend.

Tell me, what are you doing to enjoy the weekend?

Yum! A cocktail after my own heart. I am reading blogs on the boat, very happy weekend! :)

Always fun to use juice other than orange to mix into sparkling wine. The blueberry sounds perfect.
Love those champagne flutes!

I love starting the weekend off right; a cocktail always encourages some relaxation. This looks wonderfully refreshing.

Looks like a perfectly relaxing drink! I enjoyed a pumpkin martini or two at a wedding yesterday, which was lovely on a fall weekend!

Umm, I know it's not the weekend, but I could use one of those right now :)

Wow, that looks great. My weekend started with a long drive to Ithaca, but the night ended with a great bottle of wine, a fabulous steak dinner, and a visit with my mom and sister.
