Frozen Fenway

Between late hours in the office on Friday night and a full day in the office today, I was happy to spend Saturday outdoors cheering on my alma mater at Fenway Park for the UMass-UVM hockey game.  When I bought the tickets months ago, I was anticipating shivering at Fenway Park on a cold January afternoon.  But the weather was unseasonably warm and we had a blast.

Here are some photos of Frozen Fenway:

UMass for the win in overtime!
Watching UMass hockey at Frozen Fenway was definitely the highlight of my weekend.  Tell me, how was your weekend?

We went to Frozen Fenway a couple years ago and it was really really cold and snowed during the game, but it was a ton of fun.

This weekend was pretty busy. My mom was in town, then we went to see MI4, then dinner with friends, then out for a 30th bday party. Luckily today I got to just play in the kitchen and do laundry!

I went to Frozen Fenway too. Couldn't believe how warm it was - it was a great time! Dinner at Citizen Public House afterwards was probably my highlight though.

Wasn't the weather fabulous! I spent time with friends, and spent Sunday baking with Megan!

So fun! We went to a bday party at Eastern Standard that was great, but the highlight might have been not leaving the house on Sunday!

Frozen Fenway seems like such a fun day! I had many friends who went to root for UVM. I love that Fenway hosts these kinds of events in the winter!

That sounds like so much fun! Of course I planned to make soup and bake bread on Saturday. I ended up doing that with the windows open!

How fun! I've always wanted to to a Fenway event like this. My weekend was great - we're on vacation as we speak! (and of course totally using the wifi - but sparingly!)

Looks like fun! (Although Sam looks a little creepy...). My weekend was great, I finally went food shopping and did some de-Christmas-ing to get us back on schedule. It felt great!

I just had a nice relaxing weekend. :-) My parents went to the UNH-UMaine game (go Black Bears!) and had a great time.

Fenway is such a memorable place for us. My bro-in-law threw the first pitch between the Red Sox and the Blue Jays in 2009, it was so exciting for us to be there! This was before we even moved to Boston!

I'm proud to say that I have watched a Red Sox game at Fenway, so I can vouch for what a great ballpark that is. Tons of fun.
