My burger was cooked to the perfect medium that I had requested. The cheese was nicely melted and the burger was well-seasoned. I actually opted to eat my burger bunless and I found the burger to be incredibly filling even without the bread. My only complaint is that there was no pickle on the burger or on the side. I love pickles with my burgers!
Overall, Wild Willy's was a solid dining experience and I'm looking forward to exploring Watertown more now that my sister lives there. Tell me, what are your recommendations for great restaurant and shops in Watertown?
Wild Willy's has seven locations in New England and I visited the location at 46 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA.

I'm not sure if it's still there but there used to be a restaurant called La Casa de Pedro Alarcon right near the Panera Bread. I think it's Venezuelan or a similar cuisine & it's really good, both the food & drinks. Watch out though, the portions are huge.
Kind of looks like a Five Guys burger... which I love. I don't know much about Watertown, so I have no recs. I'm sure you'll get some good ones though!
i would like a burger STAT. never had wild willys or five guys. but now i want both. ohh i could also go for red robin. YUM.
Watertown faves:
- Deluxe Town Diner
- Cafe Molano (Persian)
- Red Lentil
Food shops:
- Sevan and the other Armenian markets
- Fashtachi
all I hear about in watertown these days is strip t's. So much buzz! This burger looks delicious but what's with the no pickles?!
I love the deluxe diner and my favorite armenian bakery is Massis!
Right in Watertown Square - Stellina's. http://stellinarestaurant.com/
Also, The Aegean has great Greek/Mediterranean food.

I Watertown, I love Casa De Pedro, Aegean, and Strip Ts. Also, it's not in Watertown but it's on the border: Sofra!
Cheddar and Swiss sounds delicious! I'm a big fan of the burgers at Joe's American Bar & Grill.
I've never seen this place - will have to stop by sometime! I'd recommend the Deluxe Town Diner. But get there early - the lines can get long on the weekends!
We're fans of Wild Willy's. The Willy burger usually comes with pickles. I like their grass-fed burgers too.
Here are some other places I recommend in Watertown:
- Russo's (of course)
- Strip T's
- Deluxe Town Diner
- Sofra
- The Meat Spot (lunch)
- Demos
- Fastachi
- Upper Crust
- New Ginza
- Linda's Donuts
- Wonder Cafe
Watertown is great because it is so accessible to Belmont (Il Casale), Cambridge (Harvard Sq), Boston too.
I have always wanted to check out the Armenian food scene in Watertown. We should make a date some day when you are there!
Love, love Wild Willy's!! My husband and I would always go to the one in Rochester, NH after our races in Portland, Maine.
And now I want a burger. :-)
Danish Pastry House has their Watertown Location! Its not a cafe like in Medford, but they have incredible pastries and breads! It's kind of hard to find as its in somewhat of an industrial area but its on a road right off Arsenal near Target...google it, so good!! :)
I haven't tried Wild Willy's. Or Five Guys for that matter. It looks pretty killer.
so I had to come back because after you left me a comment it just now clicked that you went here recently. definitely did not put two and two together. I'm loving that we ordered the same burger!!
